Hi there, I put a win7 instal in the trash and now I cant empty it without kernel panic unless I secure delete which stops crashing but I just get the 'cant delete' error. I put the HDD in an external case and booted into it from my mbp and was able to empty it then but when I put it back into my hacky the files were there again, weird.

Ive tried trash it and the terminal commands after reading lots on line but no banana.

the win7 files are 18 gig worth which Im bound to want back some day and its just bugs me :D

anyone with a suggestion to what I could try?

I suppose the files are on a NTFS partition ? You need to use a PC with windows for delete the files.

Or try to erase the partition with Disk Utilities (before save the others files on the partition).
