Hello!

Why i can't install S.L 10.6.3 Retail DVD using the ##### + ##### method on my P5E3 Premium Wifi??? icon_mad.gif

I installed iAtkos 10.6.3 and everything worked good, upgraded to 10.6.8 and worked very well.

I need this OS to use LEGAL and i buy a retail version to install on this PC to use legal version, but surprise icon_eek.gif I boot the install dvd verbose and it hangs at:

Refusing new kext com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily, v2.6: already have loaded v2.6.5.
Refusing new kext com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily, v1.3: a loaded copy with a different executable UUID is already present

all my screen i get this message. wacko.gif

I have one HDD and 2 partitions: first for mac and second for Windows (both primary). I delete the partition mac but i kept the partition for windows - i don't think this is the cause by keeping the windows partition on the same HDD with the mac.

On this motherboard P5E3 Premium should work. I found this http://code.google.com/p/p5e3-dsdt/, i set up the bios exactly like there, i have the latest bios installed.

I removed the IDE PX750A and i use a USB DVD-RW ( i though that my IDE DVD-RW is the problem - but it's not). My HDD is on sata.

Any ideas???

Never mind!

I fix the problem. ##### was the problem. I boot with hackboot v 6.2 and then retail dvd 10.6.3 and everything works fine. I even upgraded to 10.7.1.

Cheers!
