clustermagnet
Guys, Having trouble booting a freshly installed machine. I used MyHack (latest version) with 10.6.3 retail DVD. The mach_kernel which came with it, did not let me install OSX. I used nawcom's kernel, and the installer launched!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, I think i need a different mach_kernel. I've replaced the mach_kernel on the machine, and its not booting. The video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yaYBayYJ3E And the forum is here... you can see the actions I took, hardware information, etc: forum: http://myhack.sojugarden.com/forum/viewtop...&p=475#p475 THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guys, here is a screencap of monitor right before boot. where can i get a custom mach_kernel? clustermagnet
issue somewhat resolved: had to: 1.) downlaod nawcom's custom kernel, place in /mach_kernel.nawcom then $ mach_kernel.nawcom maxmem=4096 now, if i could only get my broadcom nics fixed, and the NVidia G96 Quadro FX580 rev a1 working if anyone can help with the nics and the NV, that would ROCK Thanks!!!
