Cheesophile
*Update* I have installed Kalyway on my PC BUT. The install didn't have the correct drivers for my PC so I don't have graphics settings, internet, sound. Can I get any help there please? -- Daniel Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/266441-help-please/#findComment-1741206 Share on other sites
Zbiggy
Since I've just passed a really painful installation process, I could recommend the image "Snow_Leopard_10.6.1-10.6.2_SSE2_SSE3_Intel_AMD_by_Hazard.rar" (use Google, you'll find it... ), which now works perfectly for me. Pay attention, that you should patch the downloaded iso-image using update-file taken from Hazard's site (he has also a forum there), and that it can report at the end "installation failed; use startdisk utility" (or something like this). But contrary to this alert installation is done in such case anyway; you have only to "wake up" your SL according to tips given by "norms". As for the drivers, pay attention to choose the proper ones before you click the "install" button to start copying; there is near down-left corner of the window an "adjust" button (or the like), which will show additional selection window, when clicked. Hope the above will be helpful for you. Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/266441-help-please/#findComment-1741257 Share on other sites
