The Problems I got so far

Hi all!

I'm visiting this site since the whole story got published and I even got OSx86 running on my PC since then.

My Hardware is: AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (SSE2 only) on Abit AV8 Motherboard (VIA K8T800 Pro + VT8237 Chipset) and NVidia GeForce2 MX400 Video Card.

I got OSx86 working using the DVD Installer, and I'm using the lateset Maxxuss Pathces (0.5c).

My problems are:

1. I can only use 1024x768x32 resoultion. when I try to switch to a higher resolution the display becomes monochrome (black / white only).

2. I can hear the sound only from the left speaker.

3. The onboard Gigabye LAN is not reconized. Had to conneced a PCI LAN card (Realtek).

4. Stuffit Expandar Crashes.

5. Preview and iPhoto doesn't display any photos at all.

 

If anyone has a solution for one or more of those problems, I'll be glad to read them.
