Brodieman81
I was trying last night to install Lion on workstation 7.1.4, I got all the way to the screen where is says installing. Last night I left it run and it never completed. I am trying again and posting during my second try. Screenshot attached Host is Windows 7 64 Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! To solve the hang on installing, Zenith432 found it necessary to manually program the EFI boot manager. To do this: After the installer copies files and reboots, hit the Escape key until you get the VMware boot menu, then: Choose Boot Manager Choose EFI Internal Shell Type (with the quotes): "Mac OS X Install Data/boot.efi" . It seems like this only needs to be done once. This is from this post.
