danill2008
Hi, I'm very new to building a hackintosh (only done a few with either sound or network working, sometimes both, but not much more), so I'm really not sure if I'm missing or doing something wrong. I recently purchased a Asus P8H67-V Motherboard and Intel i5 2500k CPU. How would I go about installing the sound and network driver? I checked and it seems to have a 887 sound codec and Atheros AR8151 network card. I tried: ALC887HDA.kext (Sound), AtherosL1cEthernet.kext (Network), IO80211Family.kext (Network). None of these worked so far. I am running Snow Leopard 10.6.2 (SnowLeo MAC OSX86) and would like to upgrade to Lion, but not sure if there is any kexts/drivers yet available Is there any person out there that has the same motherboard or perhaps the same codec that knows what I can try to get it working (even if there is no support for Lion, SL will still be good)? Any help would be greatly appreciated Kind Regards Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/266298-snow-leopard-on-asus-p8h67-v/ Share on other sites
