The CPU has been disabled by the guestOS AMD Phenom X4 9950

Hi Guys,

 

I have the: "The CPU has been disabled by the guest operating system." error while starting up a mac osx server based virtual machine. It always comes at the begin, with the grey start screen and apple logo.

 

I'm trying to install Lion in VMware workstation 7.1.4 on Win7 x64. Here are the specs of my system.

 

AMD Phenom X4 9950

8 Gb Memory

1,5 TB data capacity

 

I created a new virtual machine and added a new HD which points to a installer.vmdk file and i can't get passed the above mentioned error.

 

Has anyone had similar errors with this processor??

 

Hope somebody has the solution.
