so with the help of the awesome member "Noam AA" i was finally able to get my mac pro 98% native. (i lost my sound but i'll get it back :P)

so yea, i hve two internal hdd. one ssd raid1 for booting and my primary files. and the second one is a regular 7200rpm (i think) optical hdd.

the optical one is showing up as an external hdd. where i can even eject it. thats a NO-NO!

i;ve seen a kext in ##### that says "this will allow external hardrive appear as internal" but i don't think thats what i'm looking for since this hdd in question is infact an internal one. plus i would like to steer away from #####. any ideas?

nothing typical bro

just read throw the forum, i assure you hours of fun read (if you love computers)

those really are basic way before i got here, just trying to catch up.

;)

love your humbleness.. u are right tho. i'm just starting but i've learned alot from the help you have provided.

on my other thread, you gave me the link to vodoo for my sound issue. i DID fix, but i get a kernal panic when booting from hardrive. so once again i'm back to booting from #####. i repaired permissions and try to delete those applehda kexts but couldn't find any. i checked the extras folder and s/l/e . funny thing is, my sound if working :/ i just can't boot from hdd cause i get that kernel panic
