SeanU
Hey everyone... I have OS X 7 loading in a VM . Everything is going well except for audio. When I try to use the 1.0.3 Ensoniq Lion installer, I get the following message : "EnsoniqAudioPCI Sound Driver v1.0.3 can't be installed on this disk. This package requires OS X 10.7 or later. " see attached... My vmx sound settings look like this : sound.present = "TRUE" sound.virtualDev = "es1371" sound.fileName = "-1" sound.autodetect = "TRUE" sound.pciSlotNumber = "37" In the system information report I see "No Built in Audio". Any ideas? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/265914-os-x-107-vmware-audio-issues-w-ensoniq/ Share on other sites
Zenith432
This can happen if you faked an empty ServerVersion.plist to install the system. Check out posts #133 and #134 in this thread. There's a link to an alternate installer there that doesn't check the system version.
