Hi guys, I'm a newbie and I don't write well english.

I've followed step-by-step the guide to install MacOS X on a PC (now I explain what I've done):

I've 3 HD (C: where is XP (40gb ntfs) | D: backup of files (43gb ntfs) and X: where I want to install MacOS X (32gb fat32) [D and X are a unique HD with two partitions] | H: backup of files (300gb ntfs external)

with diskpart I put the followed commands:

1) list disk -> select disk 1 ('cause 0 is XP and 2 is the external HD)

2) list partition -> select partition 2 (the fat32 partition)

3) active (active the partition on the HD)

I exit and reboot my machine with the MacOS X Install Disc in the dvd-rom drive

Well, when Darwin is loading, appear a screen that say "An error... bla bla bla... press the button to restart".

But why?

The HD is select properly, the Partition is formatted FAT32 and selected properly. What I wrong?

Or maybe my computer don't support this release?

My Configuration:

Asus A7V-E 266 ACPI BIOS Rev 1011

AMD Athlon MP (Palomino) SoketA (462) 1700+ [MMX, 3DNOW!, SSE]

3 slot 512Mb Ram DDR PC2100 266MHz

Nvidia GeForce2MX 64 Mb Sdram

I want to install MacOS X only to use my external audio capture card Edirol FA-66 'cause on XP it gives some problems, while on Mac will run right.

I'm off minimum requirements?

Thanks to all.

PS: I don't run the Advance Startup.
