bci24sg22
I have S.L. 10.6.8 up to date. I have some problems with my laptop. I have also a PC with motherboard P5E3 premium which works great because i found the dsdt for my motherboard . For the laptop i didn`t found anything. So i decided to learn, to test various patches until i got it to work correctly. I extracted the dsdt from "DSDT Editor" which i will upload here. I will upload the output of some Linux commands (demidecode, lshal, lshw, lspci, lsusb) about the hardware that i have. The output of the lspci: 00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Memory Controller Hub (rev 07) 00:01.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset PCI Express Graphics Port (rev 07) 00:1a.0 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #4 (rev 03) 00:1a.1 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #5 (rev 03) 00:1a.7 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB2 EHCI Controller #2 (rev 03) 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 03) 00:1c.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) PCI Express Port 1 (rev 03) 00:1c.1 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) PCI Express Port 2 (rev 03) 00:1d.0 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #1 (rev 03) 00:1d.1 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #2 (rev 03) 00:1d.2 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #3 (rev 03) 00:1d.3 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #6 (rev 03) 00:1d.7 USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB2 EHCI Controller #1 (rev 03) 00:1e.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801 Mobile PCI Bridge (rev 93) 00:1f.0 ISA bridge: Intel Corporation ICH9M LPC Interface Controller (rev 03) 00:1f.2 SATA controller: Intel Corporation ICH9M/M-E SATA AHCI Controller (rev 03) 00:1f.3 SMBus: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) SMBus Controller (rev 03) 00:1f.6 Signal processing controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) Thermal Subsystem (rev 03) 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G98M [GeForce G 103M] (rev a1) 02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. bci24sg22
Thank you! I will give it a try and then will reply. if you use VoodooHda use AppleHdaDisabler How can i see what kext i am using? In linux there is a command lsmod to see what modules are loaded. When i install S.L. i unchecked the audio from setup (there was AppleHDA and Voodoo) then i installed Voodoo 0.2.72 with #####. bci24sg22
Good news and bad news. The good news are that i purchased a retail copy of Snow Leopard 10.6.3 RETAIL , upgraded to 10.6.8 then buy it from AppStore Lion and installed, upgraded to 10.7.1 and the webcam is recognized and boot faster than Snow Leopard. Until now i used iAtkos S3 (10.6.3) The bad news are that the sleep stil not working and the sound the same. I have read that thread and i am not able to make the binpatch of AppleHDA. Anyway may codec id is: IDT 92HD75B2X5 and i have found a patched AppleHDA here for IDT 92HD75B3X5. I Don't think it's a big difference. He use this code in dsdt.aml fro sound: Device (HDEF) { Name (_ADR, 0x001B0000) Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x14) { "codec-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x03, 0x76, 0x1D, 0x11 }, "built-in", Buffer (One) { 0x00 }, "subsystem-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x3E, 0x36, 0x00, 0x00 }, "subsystem-vendor-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x3C, 0x10, 0x00, 0x00 }, "layout-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0xB3, 0x1D, 0x00, 0x00 }, "model", Buffer (0x0F) { "ITD 92HD75B3X5" }, "AAPL,slot-name", Buffer (0x06) { "PCI-0" }, "device_type", Buffer (0x06) { "Sound" }, "PinConfigurations", Buffer (Zero) {}, "hda-gfx", Buffer (0x0A) { "onboard-1" } }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } I would like to test to see if it's working but i am not sure how to patch my dsdt.aml Can you help me please to test this kext? I try that AppleHDA.kext with the first dsdt.aml that you send me but it's not working (No Sound).
