Hi I would love to get Lion installed on my laptop but, I am not sure how. Is it possible for me to install Lion without Snow Leopard? For my specs look at my signature. I couldn't find out how to install Snow Leopard on my laptop so I was hoping for Lion. Plz help me. Thanks

but u must format entire hdd of ur laptop in gpt using ubuntu cd or parted live cd

I think it is possible to do this (correct me if i'm wrong): First, I will install 10.6.2 Hazard (because only that works and I can't update or I'll get a KP). Second, I will follow these steps: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/07/xmo...x-107-lion.html

Do you have a valid DSDT file? Without it, you're toast. Go HERE and ask him to help you. Then and only then can you do a decent install of Lion.

 

Actually for me my hackintosh works without DSDT, When I started the installation it told me I needed to have a GUID Partition Table. I have it dual booted so can I install it without deleting windows? And the option button doesn't work for me in hackintosh. Thanks
