octopussy1972 Posted September 2, 2006 Share Posted September 2, 2006 Hi All. Just thought I'd let you all know about my recent install of 10.4.6 on my toshiba satellite laptop. Install was a peice of cake sse2 selected during installation on to a newly formatted hdd. Booted from dvd, diskutil formated the drive without a problem, upon restart I used diskutil list in terminal to make the drive active then it booted without a problem straight into osx. Graphics was 1024x768, ethernet was seen straight away and worked without a problem, sound didnt work, and the mouse was very erratic to say the least I have had to use an external mouse which works fine. all usb's work and osx runs very fast and nicely, will be looking to see if I can get the mouse and audio working over the next few days.
