display is black after booting

hi, i tried to install mac os x 10.4.7 (jas) on a acer aspire 1692 wlmi notebook. the installation wa working perfect, but when i tried to boot mac os it was only loading for some time. the last message i see is "login application started" and the screen goes black.

 

i hope anybody can help me.

 

the notebook has the following configuration:

 

Mobile Intel® Centrino Pentium® M Prozessor 740 (2MB L2 Cache/ 1.73GHz/ 533MHz FSB)

512MB (1*512) DDR

80 GB ATA/100

ATI® MOBILITY™ RADEON™ X700 128MB
