i am using a ps/2 keyboard and a generic usb mouse.

i tried the following distros:

iAtkos S3 v2

Leo Hazard 10.6.6i

Retail Snow leopard 10.6.3

using the following bootcd:

Nawcom's latest bootcd

and EmpireEFI boot cd

the problem is mouse is not working at the welcome install page and so i can't continue the installation.

I don't know where the problem is, but nawcom bootcd is so amazing that it loaded ps/2 driver and i can use ps/2 mouse on my office's pc, the mouse works just from the installation phase but on my above home pc, the usb mouse is not detected.

I tried installing osx in vmware and mouse is fine. the install is very smooth too.

please help me how to make the mouse work.

Do not mix USB device with PS/2 device. Use either USB or PS/2 mouse and keyboard. Mixed solutions will not work.

Well, then the PC at my office which is intel based is working fine with mixed usb and ps/2 device... the keyboard is ps/2 and mouse is usb. it is having no problem at all.
