Coincoin Le Lapin Malin Posted September 1, 2006 Share Posted September 1, 2006 Holy cow, my wireless card just worked 5 minutes ago and then stopped I'm using a wired connection now, but I did a few steps to have the card blinking in the first place. First I had to change the pcmcia driver of my inspiron 8200 back to 10.4.5 (currently using Jas 10.4.7). The AR5001 icon showed up in the top bar but nothing else worked. So I read a few thread and decided to use IO8xxxx.kext and IONetworkfamily from 10.4.5. Nothing else seemed to change. I let the computer run for a while giving up on that. But then when I clicked network in system preferences an hour later, airport showed up and I was able to use my card perfectly O.o with wpa2 too...Ohhh teh bliss Of course I had to do something foolish and decided to unplug the card and insert it back in. Well, I should'nt have Back to step one now and I don't have a clue what is wrong. Help?
