CYNiCALStudios
Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to read this. I had OS X before but ended up with a bunch of Kernel panics so I decided to opt out. Now I decided to come back. The same hardware I previously had isn't giving me any luck. I recently ran into an error. On a fresh install I could boot once. After reboot, It hung with a /usr/sbin/ocspd error. I managed to get around this by renaming the NVDAResman.kext to something else in -s mode. After doing this I booted up with verbose and succesfully booted into OS X. While here I added the EFI Strings for my 9800GTX+ video card with OSX86tools (? Not sure if it's correct but it used to work) I renamed the NVDAResman kext back to original and booted, then It just hangs again. What I want to be able to do is, use OpenGL Quartz with any resolutions (as usual) boot into OS X without safe mode. I chose the EFI Strings DVI/DVI in the customise option at install. My system is an AMD system installed with Darwin Voodoo kernel. It's just that NVDAResman.kext. I can't change resolution without it.. but I cant boot with it... Any way around this?? Thanks I appreciate the help. Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/264706-nvdaresmankext-help-iatkos-v7/ Share on other sites
