tarta
Hi guys! I'm really sorry for my english but I'll try to explain my problem. I've updated my osx from 10.6.4 (full working) to 10.6.8 combo and, before restarting the system, I installed ##### > esaybeast (I've not a dsdt pre-edited and I'm not able to do it) The system seems to load everything, the boot time is more or less the same as 10.6.4 and the harddisk seems to load everything but.. when the screen should change from "apple screen" to "desktop" it freeze.. but it continue to load in background... it load driver for my g15 keyboard (I can see the keyboard display) and driver fot MX revolution Mouse (I hear the "click" of the mouse that means the drivers has been loaded).. If I start in verbose mode the system stops at ACPI POWER MANAGEMENT but I don't know if this is the problem. In ##### there's a null power management but even If I install it nothing changes. Thanks for you support! Mauro What do you think about rolling back AppleACPIPlatform.kext (from 10.6.4)? Is this a possible solution? Thanks in advance! ma0
Use nawcom Mod cd to boot into your mac and then use the legacy kernel 10.6.8(google) to patch the kernel then restart without the nawcom mod cd and everything should work.
