I was thinking about buying the P5LD2-VM mainboard and use the GMA950 in Mac OS X, because I'm not planning on playing any games. It's great for compatibility, yeah?. But, I do want to play games in WinXP. So what I was thinking is buying a X1900GT for gaming in Windows. So, Is it possible to disable the PCI-e card when booting into OS X so that it will run on the GMA? Thank you, great site! Guest bikedude880 Posted September 1, 2006 Share Posted September 1, 2006 I am currently running on the P5LD2-VM board, and I just saw in the wiki that the graphics card you are looking at getting can be used in OS X, but it has limited support. If you aren't planning on doing anything graphically intensive, you might be able to get away with leaving it plugged in. Best of luck!
