Hey All,

I've recently installed the iAtkos V7 Leopard 10.5.7 OS X on my Acer TravelMate 2490 Laptop. It's just the 2494 nwlmi with an extra GB of RAM. It's got an intel Celeron M 440 @ 1.86GHz, Intel GMA 950, 80GB HDD, 1.5GB of RAM (with the extra 1 GB). And an Atheros AR5001 wireless adapter. Installing th iAtkos, I couldn't find any kext to match my wireless chip. I installed everything, though. For PS/2 and Trackpad, I installed the ApplePS2Controller.kext. But I found out that it didn't have support for Trackpad, Windows-style (clicking by double-tapping and so on). After the full installation, I installed manually, from a .pkg, the VoodooPS2Controller + Trackpad, and then restarted the laptop. Now it had the trackpad function fully enabled, but the keyboard acted in a funny way: it kept typing something I could not see, like this: in Firefox, I have enabled the function which allows you to search for text, without having to press Ctrl+F (which for me is Alt+F, by the way). As soon as you text smth, it searches. Problem is, there's no character typed in, just the function over and over activating itself. i thought it may be a conflict between all the ps/2 drivers. I tryed in Terminal to kextunload the appleps2controller, but right before me typing the password, the keyboard types something in, looks like ^, and I can't even type in the password. Tried another way: deleting the kext manually: it would ask me to type the password in, like when you log into Mac. And right after I type in the first character, it starts!! Many characters (which I can't see, they are bullet points, you know) keep typing themselves, over and over again, and I can't even keep up with deleting them, they are too fast! And it's now only this, I also found out that there's a strange noise, like the error noise, but which repeats like 4 times a second. It only stops when I right click on the Dock, but it soon starts again! Is there any way I can fix it without reinstalling? Thanks in advance!

Alex
