Hey all,

I apologize in advance for what is more than likely a very basic question, however Google searches have been fruitless so far and I'm left with no other place to turn.

Currently, I have my 10.6 installation on an external USB harddrive and is working at more or less 100%. It boots up quickly and rarely crashes or behaves abnormally.

My only issue is that I am unable to see or access my internal Windows drive which houses all my music, TV shows, and documents.

On my laptop on which I run a similar setup (two internal harddrives, one for OS X, the other for Windows) both drives are visible under both OS's, so I know that it's definitely possible.

Is there a bios setting that I'm missing, or perhaps some kext I require to make this work?

Thanks in advance!

On your PC (we all know its hardware :D ) probably the on-board disk controller is not working. Most likely it is not working as there is no driver for it present.

That certainly seems to make sense.

I do remember that when running 10.6.0, all the drives were visible, however after updating to 10.6.8, the problems started occuring.

My mobo is an MSI P55A-GD55.

Should I be looking for a kext of some sort?
