iMyron
Greetings all. I'll admit now that i'm a noob. With that said I could sure use a little direction. I've got a P4 2.4 GHz (SSE2, SSE3, etc) with 1MB L2 cache (no HT). The board is a Gigabyte board with the 865PE chipset, ATI Rage128 AGP (16 MB). I'm not necessarily looking for QE, but I would love to run in a resolution above 1024x768....its killing me. As of right now, I'm using the VGA cable because the 128 only has a VGA connector. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Myron Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26434-help-w-fp2001/ Share on other sites
troisd
I have that same exact LCD monitor and it is a true beauty. I currently use in at 1600x1200x32 on my desktop machine, which is a clone do Apple's Developer Transition Kit machine, thus GMA900 compatibility. You are running under normal VESA 3.0 which limits to 1024x768 as far as I know. Try searching this forum for "ati rage".
