Panja
Hi all, I'm running 10.4.7 JAS install now and it runs very smooth! But I have a problem. I have a Windows 2003 server that only serves as a file server, nothing more (no domain controller or anything else). With other Windows pc's I can access the share without problems but with my MacOSx86 pc I get the following error when I go to harddisk -> Network -> Panja-Fs (name of the Windows 2003 file server) -> connect : The alias "Panja-Fs" could not be opened, because the original item cannot be found. When I go to the finder -> Go -> connect to server -> server address: smb://77.40.37.2 (which is the ip for my server) -> press connect and nothing happens... How can I solve this? I really need to access my file server... Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26419-problems-accessing-a-windows-network-share/ Share on other sites
