Lion on Biostar TH55B HD

Lion is running on:

Biostar TH55B HD Mobo

Core i3 1156

Realtek 811D Network Chipset - using the Realtek 81xx v 67 kext

Realtek ALC622 Audio Chipset - using the VoodooHDA 2.7.2 kext - KPs during startup sometimes, but when it doesn't audio works.

ATI 4600HD with Dual Monitor - Worked OOB

 

All I had to do was follow the USB using Chameleon directions. Here are a few of notes that might help though

1. ChameleonRC5 installer did not allow the destination to be changed - I got it working by loading the installer WITHOUT the USB Stick inserted, and then when the destination menu shows up, plug in the USB Stick - it will automatically update the list.

2. After installing the ChameleonRC5 boot loader on the HD, LION wouldn't start (it just spins for hours). This is because I didn't update the "Extras" folder as per the instructions - my fault.

3. My secondary monitor is detected by Lion, but was in a "sleep" like state (I have an extended desktop - but the second monitor doesn't show anything) - Turned out to be the Chameleon GUI using only the first monitor. Everything worked out fine after I disabled the GUI option in Boot.plist.

 

I should also point out that I DID NOT run the DSDT Auto-Patcher. Everything seems to work (Restart, Sleep) without patching it, so I didn't touch it.
