aitikin Posted September 1, 2006 Share Posted September 1, 2006 I had an SSE2 install earlier. I decided it was time for an upgrade now that chips are cheap. I got an AMD X2 4200+ and put it in. After I started it up, it didn't work as well as one might hope. So I decided I should reinstall. Now I've gotten through the entire install, and I get to the startup and there's a little sliver of blue on the progress bar. I unfortunately do not know the kind of patched DVD I have, but I've put on the AMD SSE3 patch and the AMD enabler stuff. Anything related to my motherboard or my processor I've selected in the install. Any help anyone can give me is much appreciated. EDIT: It's a 10.4.6 installer.
