Hi, I used to have Leopard and I updated successfully some days ago to Snow Leopard on my Laptop (see signature).

I currently have 10.6.8 and with lot's of effort I managed to have Video (with QE/CI), Audio (VoodooHDA), track pad, ethernet, Bluetooth, usb WiFi and everything is working cool except:

My PSTN modem: I don't think there are any possible solutions out there

Intel 5100 WiFi: The same as above and...

the SLEEP PROBLEM: My computer goes to sleep alright but then it hangs and I have to force turn it off with the power button. I've tried millions of sleep enables, disable USB legacy etc etc but to no avail. How should I proceed? Any ideas?

Ok guys some news for the ones who maybe interested too on the subject. Mald0n gave me a patched DSDT (thanks!) and in the beginning the PC was going to sleep but could not wake up. Then I discovered that enabling the S3 and EDB options in bios made the situation better:

1st time I press "sleep": the pc goes to proper sleep mode. I press the power button and after 5 seconds or so it goes to a semi-sleep mode (LED not flashing and disks ready). Then I press again and it wakes up.

If I press the sleep again it goes again to that semi-sleep mode...

Any ideas on

1. How to make it wake up properly without having to wait and pressing two times the power button??

2. How to enable proper sleep even after the 1st time?

Has anyone else encountered similar problems?
