My Win7/OSX help page.

Hey all,

 

I have a Metabox P150HM which can be seen here, or see my sig.

 

I'm trying to get a Win7/OSX dual boot going using Kalyway's 10.5.2 (Intel/Amd) OSX. I have Win7 installed and a 70GB partition for OSX. On initial boot it freezes at:

 

Kernal Version:
Darwin Kernal version 9.2.0...

 

I was told to turn off AHCI mode in my bios. So changing it to IDE gets me to this point:

 

Error: FireWire unable to determine security mode: Defaulting to full-secure.

 

It will then occasionally post "Still waiting for root device" on the screen until I turn the lappy off.

 

I was told to turn firewire off in the BIOS but I don't have that option.

 

Any ideas? Thanks .

 

(I'm an PC tech, but I have no experience with Macs, so just bare in mind if you start talking about kexts *?* or some-such I may ask you to give me details ).
