IDunno1
Hey there I'm having a little problem with installing mac osx (IDeneb v1.4). I get an unavailable mark on top of the Apple logo and the swirly thing carries on swirling. Specs are as follows: Intel P4 (speedstep tech) 4GB Kingston HyperX DDR2 40GB Hard Drive Here is the picture: (It will be big but that is the way my phone took it.) Try booting with -v and taking a picture of that screen, this screen isn't helpful to any of us to solve your problem. stargazer418
I had this issue too. For me, it was caused by trying to boot the installation CD using an IDE drive. If you have a SATA cd drive, try using that. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/263502-help-me-please/#findComment-1724319 Share on other sites
M92ManTis
Hmm, try booting with a different kernel. Try Voodoo, or Qoopz, Nawcom Legacy might also work. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/263502-help-me-please/#findComment-1724595 Share on other sites
IDunno1
Hmm, try booting with a different kernel. Try Voodoo, or Qoopz, Nawcom Legacy might also work. Should I try IAtkos S3 and give you he results if it is the same then it will be my computer. Also the only kernel out of them 3 on IDeneb v1.4 is VooDoo and that gives the same results.
