freedl21 Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 First off here are my specs: Cpu-i5-2500k Graphics Card-9800 Gt Nvidia mobo-Ga-z68x-ud4-b3 Ram- 8gb VENGEANCE I had a successful dual boot with windows 7 and Mac OSX, but i wanted to upgrade. So I cleaned out my mac disk and reformatted( Mac OSX journaled with MBR) then I installed and set the disk to active. Now whenever I choose Mac from my boot loader my system restarts. Notes: My first Osx install was with 4 gb ram while my second osx install was with 8gb. Both systems are installed on achi settings.
