For those people who want to install SL in windows (Vmware) you've come to the right place Lets get started Requirments: Minimum: Pentium 4 , 1 GB Ram At least intel GMA 900 Recommended: Dual Core Processor 2 GB Ram Nvida or ATi Graphics. The Best thing : YOU DONT NEED VT-X! Now thats out of the way: Download the iatkos s3 v2 ISO, look on www.insanelymac.webs.com and click on OSX Distro's, You'll find the link there. When you've got vmware & ISO. Open vmware click create new machine and click custom, press next.Leave it as it is and click next, Select install from iso and select your iatkos s3 v2 iso, click next. Select linux for the operating system and ubuntu or ubuntu 64-bit if your processor supports it. Select "Create a new virtual disk": Select "IDE" (although the "virtual disk type" SCSI is recommended): We will now specify the size of your virtual hard drive (minimum 10.0 GB): (If you want you get the possibility to check Allocate all disk space now, it will greatly increase the speed of the virtual disk, but consume more space and will impose a load by clicking on Next ...) Now point to a location to store your virtual hard disk (/ \ 10 GB minimum free space required!) Final stage of development (summary window): But before you click Finish, we will customize dabord components of this new virtual machine via the Customize button Hardware ... : Device in the list, remove the component Floppy (floppy useless!) Via the Remove button: Device still shown, we will activerr a parameter of the component Display (virtual), check the top right Accelerate 3D graphics: We finished with the Hardware window, then click the OK button to return to the summary window and click the Finish button to launch your brand new virtual machine! Part 2: First Party, Configuring VMware: (back to the first part of the tutorial here) Tutorial (2nd part): Installing MAC OS X Snow Leopard To launch your virtual machine, take a control by clicking the black VMware: (/ \: Ctrl + Alt to return to Windows in case ...) At the top, click Utilities and open Disk Utility ... : Once the utility open, left click on the VMware Virtual hard drive and go to the Erase tab, select the Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled), name your partition (no spaces) and click the Delete button .. . down. Confirm with the Clear button: Patent .... : And once the format operation is complete, quit Disk Utility: At the Welcome screen, at the bottom now click on the Continue button: Accept the contract. (Accept button): Select the partition on your virtual hard disk as the destination and click the Customize button: We will now check some extensions (drivers, patches etc ...) in addition to those already selected, to make the working installation on VMware: - In Bootloader>> check only Cameleon v2 RC5 - In Patches>> Modified Kernels>> qoopz 10.3.0 - Drivers in Main Hardware>> SATA / IDE PS / 2>> Apple PS / 2 - Once the extensions as if it checked, and click Done on the next screen, Then click the Install button. (Do not rely on the remaining time shown ...) -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ After 45 minutes, you can estimate the remaining time is fixed at 7 minutes!, If this is the case for you, stop the virtual machine (do CTRL + ALT to return to VMware and click on this button:) and move to the next step! (No di'nquiétude, the installation went well ...) -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ When installation is complete, the proposal Ignore restart and stop the virtual machine (do CTRL + ALT to return to VMware and click on this button:) we will remove the disc within the virtual DVD drive.
