StarForge
To have it running natively, you'll need to write the image to a HFS+ partition and use one of the various methods of booting to that partition. There's a few guides in the Wiki. The easiest (depending on if you're a Windows user or not) is to use 'DISKPART' in the Windows CMD to create a primary partition of 6+GB with ID=AF (HFS+), then use the chain0 method (use chain0 and edit your boot.ini). Sorry I'm being very vague, but the guides in the Wiki are very comprehensive. Good luck! StarForge
I'll assume you're in Windows so... Copy the .img file to say C:\ You'll need to use a program dd.exe (and there's an associated .dll) to write the image file to a partition. Actually, let me see if I can find that guide I saw a while back... Hmm couldn't find it... I knew I should have bookmarked it!
