A more modern advice: If you need a particular function available only in the newer kernel or system, then go ahead and upgrade. === Ref. you airport/bluetooth: Please give out more information such as 1) hardware specifications, 2) what works, and 3) what doesn't work. EDIT: My wife still has old version of Panther on her laptop (PowerBook G4) and never bothered to update... the last time she did, all hell broke loose and broke many stuff. Now she never ever does auto-update.
