I have a copy of snow leopard that works with my mobo. Problem is i am getting the old waiting for root device. I have never used any of these to boot before (have done 2 successful installs of osx on 2 different pcs with everything working). I have tried rd=diskx with 0,1,2,3 i also tried rd=diskXsY with a couple variation.

Thing is i haven't done this in awhile and need some help getting to the install.

with rd=diskXsY can x and y =0-9 or is it just 0-3?

Can #####, Duet, or Boot132 help me find my hard-drive or can it bypass the issue?

I read the wiki but still don't really understand what they exactly do and how to utilize them so some help would be great!

Also I am trying to install snowleo 10.6.4.
