okay, so i've followed the tonymac guide perfectly using ##### and mb 3.8. When i update to 10.6.8, i install my xfx 6850 and restart. I instantly know things are wrong cause the boot screen for my MB is messed up, it shows GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3 and a nice picture and all, but there are random pixels everywhere, and this gets worse, apple gray screen the logo on it has pixels and the spinning thing has pixels going around with the animation... then eventually it just shuts down the output to the screen all together and i'm blind.

Can someone please tell what i'm doing wrong or how to fix it? i've extensively read at least 4 different forums and who knows how many threads. i'm starting to think something is wrong with the graphics card, it originally worked fine. But now it's messed up, did i some how do something bad when i tried my first install with the graphics card installed? then it had no problems. none of this fuzzy screen and pixels everywhere business.

Oh, and when i enter BIOS with the graphics card, i get some random pixels and the words are messed up. I'll have the word save or somethings and it'll look like $4√3... my computer learned it's own alphabet seems like

i appreciate anyone who has read this and can provide some help. Thanks

i don't know if it'll help, but i took some pictures of what it looks like with my messed up gfx card.
