See here: xMove+Lion Installer Once you have bought your Lion OS and downloaded it, seems like you : 1. just run the Lion Installer and reboot back into Snow (this apparently does NOT install Lion) 2. create Installer Partition; 3. run xMove - that does the magic of extracting the install stuff to the Installer Partition 4. shutdown 5. boot from Installer partition - to run the Lion Installer 6. you are done if you over-installed your Snow; otherwise follow normal post-install steps to make your Lion bootable Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/262882-install-lion-using-xmove/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
