tringo
So I pull my spanking new MB out of the box and turn it on. To my horror, only 47gb of my 60 gb is available!? What the hell is using up all my space. This is very frustrating. Surely Mac OS X doesn't use 13gb. non sequitur
i think it actually does, but that includes all the dev tools and stuff. as long as you havent done much, i would do a clean reinstall of OSX and only install necessities like x11. jgrimes80
The install can be watered down to just over 4G, fully installed; 17G. So my guess is you don't have X11 installed nor do you have Xcode installed. -jgrimes80- Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26288-macbook-hard-drive-space/#findComment-178321 Share on other sites
