I have a Dell Studio 14z and I've been running it quite well for some time now. I had 10.6.7 installed, and I upgraded to 10.6.8 in prep for Lion. Unfortunately, everything came back up but Networking. I tried rolling back to the IONetworking kext from #####, but that didn't fix the problem. Does anybody know what killed networking for me? Has anyone else seen this?

Also, it won't see external drives for whatever reason. I found a reference to a Apple80211Monitor.bundle, but I can't get it onto my Hackintosh, because it won't recognize my thumb drive. USB does seem to work, as I've attached a mouse, my iPhone, and both are recognized. Wondering if there is anyway I can put that file on my iPhone and pull it off from there.

Okay, update: I've mananged to get the 10.6.7 Apple80211Monitor.bundle onto my laptop from, of all places, my VMWare installation. VMWare would actually see the thumb drive, but OSX won't. Weird.

Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem. configd is still crashing about every 10 seconds, so it appears that the Apple80211Monitor.bundle is not the source of the problems. Can anybody tell me how to determine why this is crashing? I'm looking at the logs under /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports, but it really isn't telling me much that I can interpret. Also, posting the logs here is somewhat problematic, beings as I cannot really connect to anything...
