I've sucessfuly installed Snow Leopard on my notebook video, airport, ethernet, trackpad with multitouch are OK but my sound is still dead. I've tried VoodooHDA 2.7, Taruga's HDA Patcher, Tons of kexts, but still, no response the further i got was with voodoo 2.7, where my mic was rocognized and was working, but my speakers were dead and my headphones played whatever the mic was recording :/ If anyone has the same hardware / the same problems, or if someone has the answers / kexts needed / patches needed, please, reply (: Any extra info needed, just ask and i will do the possible for posting it Thank you very much! Here are my system specifications: Notebook: Acer Aspire 5536 System: Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 RETAIL Processor: AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core @ 2,1 GHz RAM: 3GB DDR3 (2GB + 1GB) Hard Drive: 320GB SATA Video: ATI Radeon HD 3200 Audio: ATI HD Audio 791A Audio CODEC: Realtek ALC888 AirPort: Atheros AR5B91 Ethernet: Broadcom BCM5784M -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----->EDIT<----- I was able to install "AppleAzaliaAudio.pkg", edited it's kext, placed my device's VEN and DEV IDs, i got my HD Audio Output recognized, still not working and no input In the VoodooHDA PrefPane i get these errors: "Can't get registry-entry path" "Wrong Channels Number 0..24" "IOServiceClose failed" And on the right column, somethings are blue, ajustable, but "Speaker", "Alternative PCM" and "Input Gain" are gray, non-selectable When I try adjusting any of the "selectable" items, system preferences lags up and i get no response :/ I have to Cmd+Option+ESC it -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Any help would be appreciated (: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
