Dudeman
Hi, my name's Chris and i'm having problems installing OSx86. I downloaded Generic OSx86 Install DVD image, burned it. Then used Acronis Disk Director Suite to make 2 partitions. C: 93.3 GB (NTFS) Pri,Act. E: 93.01 GB FAT32 (LBA) Pri, When i reboot the computer with the burned DVD in, it boots and everything is normal but when i go to Utilities -> Disc Utility, I can't find the Mac OS X Partition i made. The only thing I can see is the DVD drive. ...And I don't want to install Mac OSx86 on my DVD Drive! Please, if anyone has any information on how to help me, it is greatly appreciated. ----------System Specs---------- Compaq Presario 061 Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002, Service Pack 2 Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.06GHz, 519K, 3066 MHz x86, x86-64, MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3 ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series (256 MB) 16X DVD+/-RW Dual Layer With LightScribe 512MB DDR SDRAM Thanks again. rkwok
Hi Chris, first is you HDD sata or IDE? If IDE, make sure it's connect to the Primary. If Sata, you need to dig around in the forum and see how everyone else overcome this issue. Good luck!
