Hello,

I have 10.6.7 running on my Compaq (HP) CQ5202FR perfectly. AMD CPU, nForce 430 chipset, ATi 4670 GPU, 3GB RAM, ALC888S audio, RT2860 Wireless. I did a retail install with the Nawcom Mod CD (not sure which version) and used the latest Chameleon 2 RC5 at the time and of course the legacy kernel. The only problems I have are the onboard audio (not bothered, I use USB speakers anyway - haven't tried to resolve) front USB ports and card reader.

I'm looking forward to stuffing a lion in my box, so I want to determine which kexts i will need once we have a legacy kernel for it. I performed

kextstat | grep -v com.apple

to see which non-apple kexts I have loaded. It gave me these:

org.tgwbd.driver.NullCPUPowerManagement (1.0.0d2)

sk.triaxis.kext.SleepEnabler (1.0.0)

org.netkas.fakesmc (2)

com.nvidia.driver.AppleNForceATA (1.0.3)

org.voodoo.driver.VoodooHDA (2.7.2)

com.Ralink.driver.RT2860WirelessDriver (1.2.2) [installed myself]

Is this the full list I need to worry about, or could there be other kexts I need, such as modified kexts that are still identified as com.apple.blahblahblah?

I haven't installed any extra kexts apart from the wireless drivers and my microsoft mouse drivers, and the Nawcom kernel update package when I upgraded from 10.6.3 to 10.6.7, so all these kexts were injected by the Nawcom Mod CD. If I should be looking out for other kexts, where should I look and what could they be?

Thanks

ps if anyone knows where I should look to get my onboard audio or card reader working, that would be great too!
