Battery icon and level in dsdt

Hi,

Is there a way to manage battery icon and charge level without using any kext like voodoobattery or appleacpibattery manager, but injecting the appropriate code in the dsdt table, like a real mac ??

I have a laptop with SL.

I read somewhere that maybe it's possible but i haven't found any solution
