Been lurking around this forum without the need to post as things went smoothly but bumped in to an issue after having already got everything up and running. Successfully installed Mac OSX on my custom built pc using the Hazard 10.6.6i disc. After a lot of messing around I managed to find suitable graphics card drivers that allowed full resolution and both monitors were working. I also managed to get the above wireless USB adapter to work and even my x-fi sound card. I then installed the Chameleon bootloader to the hard drive and since then the USB wi-fi adapter refuses to work. I can't think of anything that I would've done other than installing the bootloader that would cause problems. Previously I'd just been booting from the bootloader built in to the disc with no additional commands. The ZD WLan utility is what initially got my wi-fi working and it still loads when the system boots but it can't find the adapter. Now, the system is actually picking it up, as you can see below: Previously it automatically detected and added the device in the list of network interfaces but now I can't even manually add it. I'm not sure if it's related but my networkinterfaces.plist keeps automatically regenerating itself, even if I delete everything within it. I tried to reinstall the drivers but the installation utility now fails, presumably because it's already installed? Another theory I had was that it wasn't detecting my front USB slots but I can use a pen drive no problem and as the screenshot above, it is being detected, I just can't add the device to my list of network devices, not even manually as there's no WLan option. Oh and I'm not sure if it's relevant but I updated to 10.6.8 and the system was up to date up to about a week or so ago, pre the above problem. Thanks for the reply Motherboard is an Abit IP35 Pro XE I've not used/changed any dsdt or smbios.plist. Literally just installed using the Hazard 10.6.6i disc and then found relevant drivers. I'm not sure the issue is related to USB as my pen drive works no problem at all in the same port. It's strange that the issue only happened after installing chameleon bootloader, had it work perfectly before this. It auto-detected it previously in the network interfaces but now doesn't and networkinterfaces.plist seems to restore itself if I delete parts of it and the devices I'm able to add match what's in here.
