grande juventino
Hi, I am considering installing Mac OS X Snow Leopard on my current PC. I will be using a separate HDD and later dual boot if everything works out. I would like to know whether Mac OS X Snow Leopard will work on my current configuration. Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 MSI P7NGM-Digital (MS-7530) nvidia chipset BIOS: American Megatrends ver. 1.2 03/04/2009 Display: Integrated nVidia GeForce 9300/ nForce 730i Network: Realtek RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller Sound: Realtek ALC888S RAM: Kingston 2 x 2GB DDR2 800 (PC2-6400) HDD: WD10EURS - Windows 7 WD5000AAKS - for Mac OS X Snow Leopard Printer: HP Deskjet 3845 DVD: LG HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA H10A Mouse: MS Wireless Optical Mouse 2000 Keyboard: MS Wireless Multimedia Keyboard 1.1 Monitor: Dell S2409W 1. Should I use ##### or ##### Legacy? 2. Are nVidia chipsets recognized by Mac OS X SL? I recall some of their previous configurations using this integrated display adapter. 3. What about DSDT? Where can I find one for my BIOS/motherboard? 4. Are there specific kexts I will require after installation? Assuming it boots... 5. Which version of SL should I use? 6. Any extra info? Thanks in advance! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/261775-snow-leopard-on-a-nvidia-chipset/ Share on other sites
