Procedure, iATKOS_S3v2: 1)Booted up, got waiting for root devices 2)Changed the IDE mode to ACHI in bios, and turned legacy and usb 3.0 off 3)So it booted, i used disk utility and formatted one of my HDD's, in GUID mode and mac extended jounral 4) in customization, first install i left it as default, and it booted to a blank screen in verbose mode 2nd install i selected a few drivers and kept retrying with others selections and same result, a black screen. i didnt choose any modified kernels Procedure, SL_10.6.6i_by_Hazard: 1) turned legacy and usb 3.0 off in bios and charged ide to achi 2) everything came and in customizations i chose charelmon loader rc5 and a kernel(it was the only available kernel) and atibuffer. 3)when done installing, i actually got errors now. and the errors were inconsistent, they changed everyboot. i tried -x boot, pciroot-1 cpus=1 cpus0... and the errors where "system uptime in nanoseconds.." even tho i chose the IDOA patch fix another eror was CPU is now halted, safe to shut down dsks1 error... please helpp Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/261727-help-with-asrock-mobo/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
