I have a Problem with my GTS450 in Lion GM. used GraphicsEnabler=Yes and CL hack for FermiCards by netkas http://netkas.org/?p=794 and cuda drivers Card is recognized propper in Systemprofiler. ioreg with smbios MacPro3,1 cuda preferences+ cudaz tried smbios for MacPro 3,1 ; MacPro 4,1 and iMac 9,1. but i got such heavy graphic bugs in games. in WoW the graphics starts to become broken after 1-2 minutes. In Dungeon Siege III i got similar failures direct at the beginning. ...other games not tried. The card makes no problems in the normal desktop mode. everything is fine. I have no idea what i could also try to get the card working. Things i tried natit.kext for gts440 Efistring with osxtools aty_init In SnowLeopard the card works without these glitches, but freezes randomly. Is it a problem of my card or did i something wrong? I have Gigabyte GTS 450 running on Lion. No glitches at all. I did not use the Netkas fix! It killed my startup! I did a clean install of Lion GM, Graphics Enabler to yes, Chameleon-2.0-RC5-r1020, I did some over clocking and here are the rest of my specs! I use iMac 11.3 and recreated my DSDT.alm and now without overclocking I have much higher FPS in Cinebench! I have 26 FPS without overclocking and over 32 FPS with overclock! The only thing I can't get to work is opencl. I'v treid to edit the file with a hex editor but can not find the second range and when I change the first one and repair permissions, clear Kext-cache and so on my system won't boot? ph0en1xs Posted July 25, 2011 Author Share Posted July 25, 2011 so update. still glitches. was able to figure out that it seems to have something to do with the open gl transparency Compatibily mode till 1.5 everything looks fine from 2.0 graphic is broken core mode is it possible to launch WoW in GL 1.5 mode? i can remember that there is a keyboardshortcut to get special options when you start a game. but i cant remember the keys. or is it possible to use the 10.6.8 opengl drivers in lion? and where can i find them?
