Alimdoener
My hackintosh broke after about 2 years. Now I want to try a virtual machine instead because it makes switching unnecessary and I can also use the WLAN for internet access (I have one of those pesky intel-chipsets which will never be supported). I'm asking myself whether VMWare or VirtualBox is better for that purpose. The good thing about VMWare seems to be that there are useable virtual machines available. What do you think ? beecher
Vmware Because 1: You get a small amount of qe/ci support 2: vmware is overall better than virtualbox because it has way better os support (unless you want linux) But you may want virtualbox instead if you want sound because sound in vmware is a little stuttery and in virtualbox its fine Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/261600-virtualized-osx-vmware-or-virtualbox/#findComment-1709515 Share on other sites
Alimdoener
Thanks for the clear advice. I'll go Vmware then since I don't care about sound at all.
