Hey,

As only thing left to try was the nawcom install method, I used that to

install OS X on my laptop (see signature).

The install went fine and it reconized most of my hardware but after the

install it reboots and cant get past the bootloader with this error:

boot0: CPI
boot0: test
boot0: test
boot0: error

I can boot just fine with the USBmodCD but I'd like to boot from the HDD so I

can install other kernels, etc.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I asumed it installed a bootloader together with OS X so no, I did not install a bootloader.

Any particular one that should work with this install?

I couldnt find proper instructions on nawcom's blog about how to use his modCD but maybe im just blind :P

:P

Installed Chameleon RC5 R1096 and did a reboot but now it says:

Boot0: CPI
Boot0: test
Boot0: test
Boot0: CPI
Boot0: test
Boot0: test
Boot0: error

I also looked at the install partition's drive and it appears that nawcom's modCD did install a bootloader (there's a extra folder and a boot file) but it just doesnt use it. '

edit:

Checked if my OS X partition is bootable with "diskutil info diskXsY" and it says it is. It also contains a boot file and the /Extra folder with a com.apple.Boot.plist (the one that the USBmodCD uses).

but stil it gives the boot0: error :P
