Master MarK Posted July 1, 2011 Share Posted July 1, 2011 Hi guys have a few probs with the dell machine of mine with sleep problems , (Gfx resolution problems GMA950) Anyway if i first explain what ive done you guys might be able to tell me my mistakes 1, Im using Nawcon Boot cd + Retail 10.6 Snow leopard 2, with nawcon cd it scans hardware and picks the kexts needed, anyway it picked up everything bar the gma950 gfx 3, resolution is 1024x800 with no kext loaded Using the kalyway cd 10.5.2 i can get the gma950 to work sweet but most apps that i want to use are for 10.6 and over Not sure if a combo update would work and i have no clue to repair it when it does update and ideas guys i have a full working 10.6.6 desktop if that helps me out with things.. Ive followed the guides on here with no success so i need some fresh input please.. However there are different types of GMA 950 (with different device ID's). Some of them might not work. If your is 27a2, it should work.
