jadwv2210
Hi, I'm trying to use iATKOS on my PC, but I get an error when trying to install. I believe it is because my motherboard doesn't support AHCI, but I'm not sure. Whenever I boot into the iATKOS DVD and type -v to boot it, it boots into Darwin/x86 and gets the the part where it initializes VRAM. After that it says BUG: then the text goes all the way to the other side of the screen. I can hear my computer make a sound as if it is shutting down, which I think is the CPU turning off. The screen stays on and the HDD indicator stays lit all the time and my CD drive continues to read. I can enter text onto the screen after this. Is there any fix for the AHCI problem, or am I done for?
